Definitely not an original concept (actually a mild twist at best on a stereotypical feudal Japanese badass), but sometimes you just gotta go with the classics. As long as it’s done well, it works. And Wolf Fang works…even before he loses the disguise.

@ Mister H: Original!? Pretty much every historical manga has some dude with a glaive and a wide straw hat. What IS original is the chain-mace type thing on the END of the pole-arm.
