Oh, tricky Bunny. I like it. And the face at the end.
Also, what’s so difficult about draining oil from a big brazer? Don’t they have funnels? A basic one made from water/oil-proof wood can’t be that hard to make. Assuming you have water/oil proofing, of course.
I think that the monk is more worried about the “explosives” inside the vat than he is about the huge bowl of oil. Also I don’t believe that there are explosives, and yes that face at the end was amazing.
1) he wants to light the brazier soon, to defend the monastery, so there is a rush in how to empty it
2) the brazier was never meant to be “drained”
3) It is a huge big brazier. He needs to scoop out the oil and put it into something. It is very easy to put stuff into giant raised fixed bowls, very hard to get them out.

Hey, you can accomplish more with suspicions of foul play than you can with actual foul play sometimes.
Hehe, this gonna be good! >:3
I don’t think he realizes that he can put down the torch…
Magic tattoos, killer robots, dragons, and not a rubber hose to be seen.
She uses the truth as well as Captain Jack Sparrow did to get aboard the Interceptor.
Bunny’s psychological warfare is almost as dangerous as her sword!
Considerably MORE dangerous actually, as her swords either end up broken, stolen, or lost.
The way that she is holding up four fingers in the last panel has got me thinking that she placed more than one in there.
I think she’s counting how many are left of the four beacons.
That’s just it: she didn’t put any explosives in the thing. She just made him think she did.
*Cue the Looney Tunes theme.
