That was pretty funny. Like Axe Cop, but more logical. I’ve got to ask though, what’s with the crappy grammar? Usually you’re pretty good with it.

I usually get my scripts edited by a helpful reader ahead of time. Also Faris had a habit of altering the words slightly and dropping punctuation when he lettered the script.

On both counts I didn’t really take the time to get things fixed before publication.

… that broke my brain with its awesomeness…
Of COURSE jet-powered sharks are the natural predators of zombieraptors. Who doesn’t know that?

    That was…. completely unexpected.
    Rather good though.
Being Halloween I was almost expecting a wallpaper of Bunny and Kyoto in suitably skimpy halloween costume…. but this is better is some ways.

One of the old Marlowe books had a section where Marlowe notices all the adverts warning that Christmas will be terrible if you don’t get all your present shopping done before Thanksgiving. He idly wonders if people realise that doing so won’t make it any better.

My God, what a magnificent Halloween comic!

And I don’t mean one page. It’s a whole story, pages of awesome, raptor/zombie/shark candy goodness.

My hat’s off to you, Mr. Drow.

you hate fillers, want a day off and then have the nerve to post this(______)! Why not just post a note saying “artist on holiday” Good-bye!

Well Philppe I am sorry you didn’t like the filler. It is admittedly not my best work. As I said the point was just to be silly and I didn’t put a lot of work into polishing it. I sort of felt like polishing it would take something away from the raw and random feel of the comic. Perhaps that was a mistake but that’s was what I was trying here.

I am also sorry you feel I was cheating you out of a page. Like I said I hate filler that are just a cheap pinup to fill the space. I wanted to bring you something special this Halloween and truly celebrate the holiday. Instead of just putting up a pinup that interrupted the story, something I do hate, I posted a full story. Two full stories to be exact. The idea was the filler would be much more than you would get with a normal update so you would feel you are not being cheated but being rewarded. Sorry you didn’t feel that way and I am grateful that you like Blade Bunny enough to want to get back to the comic. I promise I will only do something like this once a year.

One more short note to others. I am approving this comment because Philippe has a right to express his opinion. I will however not tolerate attacks on him just because he is posting something you might not agree with. Critics make a community stronger unless it provokes a flame-war. No one wins in those situations. I trust you can treat him with respect and then get back to making uncomfortable puns about fish.

That was the best filler post for a holiday ever!
31 pages for the price of 1, absolutely badass!
I shall remember this day as the day filler became that much more enjoyable! Good day to you friend!

I think this is the first time I’ve seen my argument about the whole “zombie” apocalypse set down in comic form.

Isn’t amazing how a crappy franchise which originally started as a PARODY of another franchise becomes the standard for what people see as how all “zombies” behave?

This had a very Excel Sage/FLCL feel to it overall. I LIKE IT!
