Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their bunny
Well it finally has happened. Blade Bunny volume one is heading to the press. Volume 1 has 112 pages from books 1 to 5 of the comic plus 3 unpublished pages. The book is being published through Gashu Group an independent UK publisher of manga.
Right now the book is being sold for a preorder discount of £8.00 or about $12.50. A pretty good deal for UK readers. For US readers not as great a deal since you have some pretty hefty shipping costs but still not deal-breaking if you ask me.
Now here is the important part. This is the first volume of Blade Bunny. The second volume is depended on the sales of this book. It’s dependent on you.

Drowemos, Eric, etc like the devil I am known by many names. Unlike the devil I am far less organized in my plans. If I was we’d all be calling New Zealand, Shire. Because lets be honest all most of us know about New Zealand is that the Lord of the Rings movies was made their. Might as well just own it. And what is a Zea anyway and why does it get it’s own land.
I am not from the UK or Shire, but good old USA. Gashu Group was willing to do the prepress work on the book so the US written, Indonesian illustrated, Manga will be published in the UK. To say this book would have never happened without the internet is an understatement.
well just don’t do the silly “right to left” thing in the English version…why they don’t mirror image the art before putting the english translations in I really don’t know…not like hitting the “Flip horizontal” button on the Jpeg editor is hard…

But, but, I already have a Blade Bunny number 1, I bought it at the first Intervention a couple of years ago! Argh, damn my completionist instinct, I must buy again!

You get a lot more that the few pages that were in that ashcan edition. Not to mention a lot higher quality.
I know, I can’t wait, I just now ordered mine! I have to say, that ashcan edition is what got me hooked, I hadn’t heard of Blade Bunny before. Now I get to see Bunny in glorious color on the cover! Have you considered making a version of that cover in print form?
