I am just going to post this here. I know it’s old news. But damn, its an awesome video and it’s new to me.
She is awesomeness embodied.
Nice. Sent a link to my niece, who is not bad on the violin.
She lost favor with me when I learned she was Mormon. Her whole, “Be yourself,” message loses its impact when you add the addendum, “Unless you’re gay, in which case you need to be saved.”
Did she add that addendum? Or is that just your prejudice towards Mormons?
Besides, how do you know what kind of Mormon she is?
As far as I know, there’s two basic kinds of Mormons (excluding orthodox). There’s Mormon, and then there’s Jack Mormon; Lindsey doesn’t strike me as “Jack Mormon.”
So… You have prejudice against those who have prejudice?
Yeah, pretty much.
Did you see her “America’s Got Talent” tapes? She got downmarked for dropping a few notes while being tossed around!
How many times does a ‘professional’ artist muff a few notes (vocal or instrumental) during a live concert? Pretty much all of them, and they stay on their own feet!
Agreed. What’s worse is I suspect that these aren’t really competitions. I suspect the winner is chosen quite early on.
If you like Lindsey Stirling, you may also enjoy Caitlin De Ville – here is one of her original pieces: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uECGbw_8Ll4
Thank you, watched a few of her videos, and they were wonderful 😀
Just need to wait for something to come through before i can book my tickets for her sydney show in feb.
And for some reason, I.m reminded of Linda Stirling, Serial Queen for Republic during the mid-to-late ’40s.
